World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also provide bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. Some upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and that it meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor, or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool for an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade, it can then be modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other gear. This will increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of specific pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, such as more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.

For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77, and so on.

The water bottle, common and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a new the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. The potions are lingering and can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket

You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
